Waistbeads are a traditional African body adornment that serve different purposes for every(body). More traditionally the beads were worn for husbands eyes only, gain confidence after birthing a child, worn to aid in conceiving a child (by wearing different healing gemstones/crystals) & shaping your waist.Â
Today they have many different meanings whether you are tracking weight lost, looking to gain confidence back, want to have healing energies around you, trying to conceive or you just simply like the way they look on you. Wasibeads have an aura about them that makes you feel like THAT GURL + that you got a lil extra going on that no one knows about but you & your body.Â
Who can wear waistbeads?
Waistbeads can be worn by ANYONE. Young, Elder, Middle aged, white, brown or black, male or female, from the city girls to church girls… we don’t discriminate!
Can I shower with waistbeads?
YES! The beads are made with the highest quality, water resistant and mold/mildew resistant. You can resume all normal activities.Â
Are they removable?
No, they are traditional tie on waistbeads and can only be removed by cutting them off.
Do they stretch?
No, they are made on non-stretch string & stretch string is not offered by Intentionally Waisted.Â
Can children wear the waistbeads?
Yes! Parents/Guardians can adorn their children(s) waists to track growth & set intentions.Â
Can pregnant women wear waistbeads?
YES! We LOVE our pregnant mamas and want them to have all the good energies for them & their baby(s).Â
Do waistbeads make you lose weight?
No. The beads do not make you magically lose weight. They do track your weight loss progress by either getting looser or tighter, they also help with managing overeating or bloating by feeling loose or tight
How do I know what size to order?
All strands come in our standard 50".
Approx waist size: 24-55"
Approx pants size: 0-18, S-L/XL
*This is approximate sizing, please make sure you are measuring your waist either by the smallest area of your waist or where you will want your beads to fall.

Where is my confirmation email?
If you placed a recent order with us please check your junk/spam folder.  Most confirmation emails will be sent automatically upon purchase. If for any reason there is a delay and you have not received in 24 hours please inquire here. Â
Where is my order?
If you have placed your order and have received your confirmation email, your order should be on its way to you very soon. Please track your order with the tracking number provided in email. If you have placed your order on a weekend or a public national holiday your order might experience slight delays, dependent on the postal services/couriers.

LOST/MISSING PACKAGES - If your package is lost, please allow 7-10 days for it to be delivered. If your package has not arrived 10 days after the stated delivery date, please contact us and also contact the carrier service to begin claim process.

What is the process to receive my order?
Step 1: A confirmation email is received once you place your order.
Step 2: Your order is in line to begin processing.
Step 3: You will receive an email containing your tracking number once your order is packaged, labeled and ready to be shipped. Receiving this email means that your shipping label has been printed.
Step 4: Stay up-to-date on your order by checking your tracking number. The tracking number will update once it has arrived to the USPS facility.
Step 5: Your order will be delivered. This is 7-14 business days from when you placed your order.
Can I return/exchange my purchase?
